Lets Go Dolphins

PHINS FOR REAL?

December 13th, 2005 @ 11:11:08 PM

Fear the Miami Dolphins. Noone wants to play this team. This is the team that was envisioned at the beginning of the season. A team that can throw the ball down field and make big plays. Lets say New England loses this week. Miami wins. We have a legitimate shot at Winning our division. We still play New England in the warm weather. Miami is on a roll right now and I don’t think they will be stopped. Remember the Jets and Tennessee are not easy wins but they should win both. Setting up a final game at New England for maybe the division. With Tom Brady banged up it wouldn’t suprise me to go out on a limb and say MIAMI DOLPHINS WIN THE AFC EAST AND GOTO THE PLAYOFFS AND BEAT THE UNDEFEATED INDIANPOLIS COLTS AND MAKE SOME NOISE. IT COULD BE CINDERELLA TIME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! OMG DID I JUST SAY BEAT THE COLTS?

Micheal Vick and ATL Run Into Town

November 4th, 2005 @ 5:15:07 PM

Micheal Vick will cause havock if he is able to get out of the pocket. Rumor that Junior Seau is back should bring stability back to the linebackers. Gus Frerrote again must get the ball down the field to stretch this defense. I keep saying it over and over again. Throw the ball deep. Then rRicky Williams and Ronnie Brown can do there thing. O-line is coming around. Nice to see that gell starting to take place. Atlanta is hurting a little on the defensive side but this should be a tight game.

ATL 21 MIA 17

Jason Taylor on Crutches

October 17th, 2005 @ 11:24:14 PM

The Miami Dolphins Defensive End Jason Taylor was injured in sunday’s game. He was on crutches in monday’s practice. Nobody is saying how long he will be out.

Dolphins Offensive Line Must Improve

October 17th, 2005 @ 5:27:00 PM

The Miami Dolphins Offensive line got the big F this week regarding grades. They allowed the 1st ranked Tampa Bay Buccaneers defense to score a TD and record 3 sacks in the 3rd and 4th quarter to break the game open. Very dissatisfied the way they didn’t have enough time to throw and get the timing down. They lost a tough road game and showed they can’t fall behind in a game or they are in trouble. They need consistency in RB and that will come when the line is in sync. The schedule does not get any easier the rest of the way.

Dolphins Need All Facits of the Game Clicking

October 16th, 2005 @ 10:47:17 AM

In order for the Miami Dolphins to have success on the road they will have to throw the ball and convert 3rd downs. Look for Gus Frerotte to try and get Chris Chambers off early with the deep ball. Also the running game if some success early should open up passing lanes to Randy McMicheal. They need to score points and score early to put the doubt in Tampa Bay Buccaneers minds. Also Special Teams play has been a huge dissappointment up till today. If the Miami Dolphins gonna have a shot they need good field position. Wes Welker needs to step up and make some plays. No stupid penalties. Miami set a record last week for 18 penalties. No dumb ones today. Nick good coaching and the Dolphins walk away with a huge victory today~!!!!!!

Ronnie Brown as a Fullback?

October 13th, 2005 @ 10:32:02 AM

Coach Nick Saban has told the media that different formations have been instilled in the playbook this week for Ricky Williams and Ronnie Brown. One play he says has Ronnie Brown being primary fullback with Ricky in an I-formation set. Another one has Ronnie Brown being the setback as Ricky is in motion in the WR slot position. Remember , Ronnie was a fullback in college for Carnell “Cadillac” Williams , and both got to the NFL and our having success. I think Nick Saban knows how to exploit his talent and he will utilize the speed of Ricky Williams and the blocking ability of Ronnie Brown this week in Tampa Bay.

In Tampa this week expect WR Micheal Clayton to be back after a knee injury. Joey Galloway has been catching most of the balls and with him seeing double teams this weekend expect Clayton to step up.

Dolphins trade Chatman to Saints

October 11th, 2005 @ 9:45:05 AM

The Dolphins agreed to trade tailback Jesse Chatman to New Orleans this morning for an undisclosed future draft choice, a source said.

Chatman was signed by the Dolphins at the end of the preseason after tailback Ricky Williams was suspended for four games for violating the NFL’s substance-abuse policy. Chatman, who spent his first three NFL seasons in San Diego, was inactive for all four of the Dolphins’ games this season.

The Saints need help at tailback after losing starter Deuce McAllister for the season because of a knee injury suffered in last Sunday’s 52-3 loss to Green Bay.

The Chatman trade clears a roster space for Williams, who is expected to practice with his teammates Wednesday for the first time since late August and play Sunday at Tampa Bay.

Dolphins Move Into 1st Place

October 3rd, 2005 @ 12:12:33 PM

The Miami Dolphins moved into 1st place over the weekend when New England Patriots got
smacked around by the San Diego Chargers and the Jets and Bills also lost. This will mark the
first time the Dolphins have been in 1st place since 1999.

A Buffalo Bills team comes into town after being man handled by the New Orleans Saints. J.P. Losman the QB of the Bills had a rough outing and should have another rough time with the Miami Dolphins defense which has had a week of rest. Look for the Dolphins to win a close one.

Dolphins Need Rest

September 29th, 2005 @ 10:14:58 PM

With the Dolphins getting a bye here in week 4 it gives the team time to reflect on what it has accomplished in the first 3 weeks of the NFL. It has spanked a 1st place team in Denver Broncos. Has beaten a heavily favored to make it to the Super Bowl in Carolina Panthers. It did play suspect New York Jets and lost a tough game but alot of mistakes in that game. So, less mistakes on the road and a healthy 2 back combo with Brown and Williams should be a good fit and better balance for the team . The week rest is good for the ailing defense as well. Seau was injured but should return. Zach Thomas is everywhere. Jason Taylor is back to being dominant. The future is bright. Execution and health will mean everything.

Told Ya So!!

September 26th, 2005 @ 5:15:31 PM

As I said last weekend. Gus should be able to score. He did get the ball to Chambers more and attempted the deep throw connecting with him on a marvelous one-handed grab for a touchdown that was reviewed. Could be the one of the top 10 plays of the week. Looks like we made a good choice in signing Mr. Frerotte. Considering we almost signed Kurt Warner and look what he has done? 0-3. Dolphins 2-1 tied for 1st place with a bye week coming up. I like what I see out of the QB position.
